The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has scheduled its 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting for Monday, May 4, 2026.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The announcement was made on Saturday via the party’s official social media platforms.
According to the party, the meeting will commence at 2:00 pm and follows a resolution adopted by a two-thirds majority of NEC members, in line with provisions of the party’s constitution governing its internal affairs.
Attendance is limited to statutory NEC members. These include PDP governors, members of the National Assembly caucus, the Board of Trustees, state party chairmen, and national ex-officio members.
Also expected are former National Working Committee members, past PDP governors, principal officers of the National Assembly, and other designated stakeholders within the NEC framework.
The party stated that the meeting will provide an opportunity to assess key issues affecting its structure and future direction, with emphasis on strengthening unity and internal mechanisms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“In line with the PDP Constitution, attendance at the 103rd NEC meeting is strictly restricted to statutory members of the National Executive Committee,” the notice stated.
“NEC remains committed to the stability, unity, and progress of the PDP, guided by internal democracy, discipline, inclusiveness, and the overall wellbeing of Nigerians as we prepare for victory in the 2027 general elections,” it added.
