Drama Deepens As Lizzy Anjorin Accepts ₦10 Million Fight Challenge Against Iyabo Ojo

The idea of a celebrity boxing match between both actresses was first floated in 2024 by entertainment promoter Paulo, with a ₦10 million prize attached to the proposed fight.

In a post shared via Instagram on Sunday, Anjorin confirmed she was willing to participate in the bout, but introduced new conditions before agreeing to face Ojo in the ring.

She suggested that Paulo should first step into the ring against her husband for a 10-round match, before she eventually fights Iyabo Ojo the following day.

She wrote: “As at today, 3rd May 2026, I accept your challenge.

“You (Paulo) and Chief Lawal will fight 10 rounds non-stop in the ring. Then the next day, it will be me and Iyabo Ojo in the ring.”

Anjorin also made further remarks challenging both Paulo and Ojo, demanding that they publicly present evidence of their wealth and personal achievements.

The development adds another layer to the ongoing public rivalry between Anjorin and Ojo, a dispute that has stretched across social media exchanges, court actions, and public statements over several years.

What began as professional and personal disagreements has since escalated into repeated controversies and legal confrontations.

Tensions further rose in 2025 after Iyabo Ojo filed a ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit against Anjorin, though the case was later struck out on procedural grounds, with Ojo indicating plans to pursue further legal steps.
