Political Sh*ckwave As El-Rufai’s Son Dumps APC For ADC
A member of the House of Representatives representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, has officially left the All Progressives Congress (APC) and joined the African Democratic Congress.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Bello El-Rufai, who is the son of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, announced his defection in a statement released on Thursday.
He defected alongside another lawmaker representing the Kudan/Makarfi Federal Constituency in Kaduna State, who also left the Peoples Democratic Party to join the ADC.
The development is the latest in a series of political realignments taking place ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In addition, Suleiman Richifa, representing Soba Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, also dumped the PDP for the ADC.
Meanwhile, Abdulhakeem Ado from Kano State resigned from the ADC and moved to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
The recent defections reflect the growing wave of political restructuring and coalition-building among opposition figures and lawmakers across the country ahead of the next election cycle.
