A few days earlier, social media platforms were flooded with claims alleging that Edoho’s former wife was involved in a relationship with a well-known Nigerian singer during their marriage.

In a statement shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Edoho thanked supporters for the messages, prayers, and concern shown toward him over the separation and divorce proceedings.

According to him, the separation occurred nearly two years ago, and he has gradually come to terms with the situation emotionally.

He wrote, “Over the past few days, I’ve received an overwhelming amount of kind messages, prayers, concern, and goodwill regarding my separation and ongoing divorce proceedings. I sincerely appreciate the empathy shown to me.

“Although many people are only now hearing about this phase of my life, I have privately endured it for quite a while — almost two years — and I have already found emotional peace with it.

“Life moves through different seasons, and sometimes the most dignified thing to do is to quietly move on. I am doing well, focused, peaceful, and deeply thankful for the love, respect, and support that so many people continue to show me. Thank you.”
