Tragedy Strikes Isaac Fayose As Wife Dies After Battle With Cancer

The social commentator shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, posting a candlelight image alongside a farewell message.

He wrote, “Rest in peace my darling wife, odabo oyinbo mi.”

Before her death, Fayose had earlier spoken about the severity of her condition, revealing how the illness had taken a heavy toll on her health.

He said he travelled to Australia to be with his family but was confronted with a painful reality, as his wife had become critically weak due to cancer.

According to him, she was no longer able to speak or perform basic daily activities. He recalled that the woman who once welcomed him at the airport was no longer able to do so, forcing him to make his way home by Uber.

He further described how their roles had changed, noting that he now had to care for her fully, including preparing meals since she could no longer do so herself.

Fayose added that he spent time by her side, singing her favourite songs, while she responded only by holding his hand.

In his emotional reflection, he spoke about the fragility of life, stressing that wealth and material possessions cannot prevent illness or death.

He also questioned the actions of those who use public office for personal gain, noting that no amount of wealth can ultimately stop human suffering or mortality.
