The attackers reportedly stormed Community High School and other nearby schools during the raid, taking away the principal, several teachers, and students.

One of the abducted teachers, Michael Oyedokun, was later confirmed killed by the kidnappers, a development that has triggered widespread anger and fear across the state.

Reacting on his Instagram page, Kunle Remi expressed deep sorrow over the incident and questioned how such violent tragedies have become increasingly normalized in society.

He described the killing of a teacher and the abduction of schoolchildren as heartbreaking and unacceptable, stressing that citizens should not be forced to live in fear within their own communities.

The actor also criticized how quickly public attention shifts away from such incidents to politics and other discussions, saying it raises serious concerns about leadership priorities and the value placed on human lives.

He added that the recurring violence, trauma experienced by families, and loss of lives reflect a disturbing pattern that must not be ignored.

Kunle Remi called for justice, peace, and stronger protection for citizens, insisting that human lives must take priority over political interests.
