In a post shared on his handle, Atiku said their meeting featured frank and meaningful discussions on Nigeria’s current challenges, including rising economic hardship, insecurity, and the need for patriotic leaders to continue seeking solutions to the country’s difficulties.

He also noted that the visit provided an opportunity to celebrate Amaechi’s birthday and share light-hearted moments.

According to Atiku, the post read in part that the meeting was marked by warmth and camaraderie, as both men reflected on the state of the nation and the responsibility of leaders to work towards national recovery.

He added that he also used the occasion to joke with Amaechi about Arsenal’s recent victory, describing him as a passionate supporter of the club, a moment which Amaechi reportedly received in good spirits.

Atiku further revealed that Amaechi apologized for not having time to prepare a traditional meal, promising to make up for it during a future visit.
