The actor said the incident left him feeling insecure for the first time in his life, describing it as deeply disturbing.

He spoke during an interview on News Central Television, where he characterised the alleged leak of his voter information in the Federal Capital Territory as an abuse of power.

“I felt insecure. For the first time, I’m feeling like, ‘Is anybody saving this country anymore?’” he said.

“It was shocking. It was so disturbing that I felt unsafe. It felt like an abuse of power. This is the extreme of political radicalism, basically telling Nigerians that ‘we are in charge.’”

Ike confirmed that he has initiated legal action against Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

He said his lawyer had already written to Olayinka, INEC, and relevant security agencies regarding the incident.

“Obviously, I will go to court, and my lawyer has already written to Lere and INEC,” he stated.

“He has also written my party, the DSS, and the police so that it can be officially documented that this kind of thing has happened in Nigeria.”
