“Christian Eriksen is doing well and walked off the pitch by himself. As I see it, the pacemaker responded as it should. He was briefly unconscious, but regained consciousness very quickly, and we were able to communicate with him almost immediately,” Boesen said.

He added that Eriksen would undergo additional medical tests to determine the cause of the collapse, while doctors remain in close contact with him.

Boesen also disclosed that the player had asked him to reassure teammates and supporters that he was okay.
