Nigerian singer Spyro has shared his thoughts on why some of his colleagues in the music industry reportedly fell into financial hardship after achieving success.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

He made the remarks during a performance at an event over the weekend, where he discussed how sudden fame and wealth can sometimes lead to poor financial decisions.

According to him, some artistes end up spending excessively on parties, luxury travel, and relationships—particularly with foreign women—instead of saving or investing their earnings.

Spyro noted that while enjoying life and showing generosity is not wrong, reckless spending can undermine long-term financial stability.

The Who’s Your Guy crooner advised young men in the audience to be intentional with their finances and prioritize long-term planning over momentary pleasure.

He also recounted that when he gained fame and wealth, he was approached by several people, including social media influencers, who offered to sponsor trips and seek his attention.

However, he said he declined such offers in order to stay focused on his music career and make more disciplined financial choices.

“If you are here and you are spending money on women, I think you are wasting your time. I am not saying you should not spend on your woman, but use your head,” he said.

“I know some of my colleagues who went broke because they got their first big money and spent it on parties and trips to South Africa. But I didn’t move that way, and that is why I am where I am,” he added.
