A woman has sparked reactions online after revealing how she met her husband on Twitter and went on to marry him just a few months later, despite the couple reportedly skipping the conventional talking stage.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the woman said she first encountered her husband on Twitter in August. She explained that they met physically about a week later, and he asked her to become his partner on the same day.

She accepted the proposal, and their relationship reportedly progressed at a remarkably fast pace over the following months.

The woman revealed that she met her husband’s parents in September, while he met her family in October. By November, both families had reportedly completed their introduction ceremony, while the couple held their pre-wedding photoshoot in December.

The couple subsequently had their court wedding in January before going ahead with their traditional and white wedding ceremonies in February.

Reflecting on their relationship four years into the marriage, the woman said she only recently realised that she and her husband never had what is traditionally regarded as a talking stage before getting married.

She explained that they essentially got married and began learning more about each other after entering the marriage.

“I never actually had a talking stage with this man,” she said.

According to the woman, their decision to marry after such a brief period of courtship was a major risk, but she believes the outcome has justified their decision.

“We literally got married and started discovering each other inside the marriage,” she stated, describing the experience as a “wild risk.”

Despite the unconventional beginning to their relationship, she rated the decision positively, saying it was “10/10 worth it.”

Her account has since generated reactions online, with social media users discussing the couple’s remarkably quick journey from meeting on Twitter to becoming husband and wife.
