A Nigerian woman identified as Sandra Okpara has appealed for the return of ₦1,640,200 which she claims she mistakenly transferred to the church of Pastor Jerry Eze.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Okpara, who described herself as a single mother of two and a believer, made the appeal in an emotional video shared online.

She explained that she had participated in her usual religious activities earlier in the day, including taking communion and making a financial transfer as an offering.

However, about two or three hours later, Okpara said she intended to transfer money to her Zenith Bank account to purchase a voucher but inadvertently sent ₦1,640,200 instead.

The woman expressed concern over the situation, stressing that the money does not belong to her and was intended for other people. She added that the beneficiaries had already started contacting her regarding the funds.

Okpara appealed to anyone who knows officials or workers at Streams of Joy International, the church associated with Pastor Jerry Eze, to assist her in reaching the appropriate authorities so the money can be recovered.

She also explained that she decided to speak publicly about the situation because she wanted to be transparent and seek help in resolving the issue.

Her appeal has drawn attention online, with many people expressing concern over the significant amount involved and urging the relevant parties to look into the alleged erroneous transfer.
