Poco Lee Breaks His Silence, Reveals How R@pe Allegation Changed Everything During UK Ordeal Video

Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has opened up about his recent legal ordeal in the United Kingdom, saying he remained calm throughout the experience because he knew he was innocent of the allegations against him.

Poco Lee made the remarks during a video conversation with social commentator VeryDarkMan, who shared the footage on Instagram on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

According to the entertainer, his biggest concerns during the difficult period were the welfare of his associates and the impact of his absence on their businesses, rather than the allegations against him.

“I was just being myself; God sees my heart. My only worries were about my people. Jago could not do anything business-wise; I didn’t want to stress anyone,” he said.

Reflecting on the situation, Poco Lee added: “If I were inside there and I did what I was accused of, I would have felt I was paying for my sins. But since I knew I didn’t do what I was accused of, my mind is pure.

“Nobody would have wanted to associate themselves with something like that, but Burna Boy stood by me, Jago, and some of my other guys.”

During the conversation, VeryDarkMan also expressed his support for Poco Lee and raised questions about the circumstances surrounding reports of the entertainer’s legal situation in the UK.

He further acknowledged the support Poco Lee reportedly received from singer Burna Boy and social media personality Rahman Jago during the ordeal.

The comments come amid conflicting reports circulating online about the status of the criminal case against Poco Lee. While some reports claimed that he had been released from prison, others suggested that the complainant had withdrawn from the case or that the matter had been resolved out of court.

However, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has confirmed that the case remains active.

The CPS Press Office stated that Odinaka was still scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15, 2026.

“This case is still live, and Odinaka is still set to appear for a PTPH at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 15 September 2026,” the CPS said.

The hearing is a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH), a pre-trial proceeding during which issues relating to the defendant’s plea and preparations for trial are addressed.

The CPS did not disclose whether Odinaka was in custody or had been granted bail.

Poco Lee is facing five sexual offence charges in the UK, including attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.

The case reportedly followed his visit to the UK for the Davido and Friends concert held at Crystal Palace Bowl in London on August 14.

Snaresbrook Crown Court had earlier confirmed that his case was listed for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 15.

The court has also imposed a reporting restriction to protect the identity of the complainant under Section 1 of the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 1992.

Poco Lee has denied committing the alleged offences.

The allegations remain before the court and have not been determined. He has not been convicted of any offence.
