My Better Days Started When I Found Christ — King Ochacho Responds To Ritualist Claims

Nigerian businessman and social media personality King Ochacho has responded to allegations circulating online that he is involved in ritual practices, dismissing the claims and attributing his success to his Christian faith.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Ochacho addressed the allegations during a conversation with popular streamer Peller, who brought up claims that the businessman was a ritualist.

During the exchange, Peller noted that he had also faced similar accusations after an individual allegedly claimed to have performed juju for him and suggested that the spiritual act was responsible for Ochacho gifting him a house.

“People say you’re a ritualist,” Peller told Ochacho.

Responding to the allegation, Ochacho dismissed it and said he would not allow anyone to take credit for what he believes God has done in his life.

“Don’t mind them. I cannot give God’s own glory to a mad man,” he said.

Peller subsequently shared his own experience, revealing that he had also been accused of being involved in ritual activities. According to him, someone had allegedly claimed that he performed juju for Ochacho and that the act was connected to the businessman’s decision to give him a house.

“Me sef them tell me say I be ritualist. One Baba come out dey say e do juju for me na why Ochacho give me house. Say e do juju for Ochacho,” Peller said.

Ochacho, however, explained that his journey to what he described as better days began after he embraced Christianity and started relying on the Bible.

He said, “My better days of journey started the day I found Christ and the Bible. The only thing that has kept me is the Bible.”

His comments come amid recurring discussions on social media about the sources of wealth and success of some Nigerian celebrities, entrepreneurs and public figures. Ochacho used the conversation to reject the allegations against him and emphasise the role of his Christian faith in his personal journey.
