Five APC Governors Are Supporting NDC – Isaac Fayose Makes Explosive 2027 Claim

Businessman and political commentator Isaac Fayose has alleged that five governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress are secretly supporting the National Democratic Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Fayose made the claim in a recent video, alleging that the unnamed governors had pledged to provide financial support for the NDC’s electoral activities in the Federal Capital Territory and Rivers State.

Fayose claimed the governors would not publicly campaign for the opposition party or make statements that could openly favour the NDC because they remain members of the APC. However, he alleged that their reported objective was to prevent FCT Minister Nyesom Wike from securing the two areas for the ruling party in the 2027 election.

He further claimed that the governors had discussed providing financial support to NDC polling agents in Rivers State and the FCT, allegedly offering ₦200,000 per polling unit to agents who would stand against what he described as attempts to manipulate election results.

Fayose also alleged that the governors wanted their identities kept secret because of their continued membership of the APC. He said their reported concern was specifically about Wike’s political influence in Rivers State and the FCT.

The businessman further stated that he had told the governors he did not want President Bola Tinubu to return to office, while, according to his account, the governors’ focus was primarily on preventing Wike from securing the two areas for the APC.

The identities of the five governors, as well as Fayose’s claims about their alleged financial commitments and the purported ₦200,000-per-polling-unit offer, have not been independently verified. Neither the governors involved nor the APC has publicly confirmed the allegations in the reports reviewed.
