The Oriire (Oyo State) School Rescue: In July 2026, a meticulously planned multi-agency operation successfully rescued 44 abducted pupils and teachers from the Old Oyo National Park. National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Rescue: In early September 2026, joint security forces successfully tracked down and rescued 15 kidnapped NYSC members.
We also commend the Army Chief’s command philosophy focusing on advanced intelligence, surveillance, and joint operational readiness, which has heavily disrupted criminal networks and logistics chains in vulnerable areas.
This philosophy has led to the following successful Anti-Banditry gains.
