Shock As Victor Osimhen’s Transfer Value Falls By €10m

Published

Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has recorded another decline in his Transfermarkt market valuation, with his estimated value falling from €75 million to €65 million in the latest update.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the latest €10 million reduction comes after a summer transfer window that saw the Turkish Süper Lig attract several high-profile players, including Mohamed Salah, Rafael Leão and Dušan Vlahović.

The new valuation represents Osimhen’s lowest market value in four years. The Nigerian striker was last valued at €65 million in June 2022, when he was 23 years old and had been at Napoli for less than two years following his move from Lille.

Osimhen’s valuation was significantly higher when he initially joined Galatasaray on loan in September 2024. At the time, he was valued at €100 million, making him the most valuable player in Süper Lig history according to Transfermarkt.

Following his departure from one of Europe’s top five leagues, Transfermarkt subsequently reduced his valuation to €75 million. His value later fell to €70 million before recovering to €75 million after Galatasaray completed his permanent transfer from Napoli for a reported €75 million in July 2025.

Transfermarkt maintained Osimhen’s €75 million valuation in May 2026, with the platform pointing to his status as an elite striker and continued interest from major European clubs.

The latest €65 million valuation is €55 million below the career-high €120 million valuation Osimhen reached during his time at Napoli.

Despite the latest decline, Osimhen remains the highest-valued player in the Turkish market, according to the latest Transfermarkt figures. AC Milan forward Rafael Leão is valued at €50 million, while Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović is valued at €35 million and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah at €22 million.
