Niger Woman Sparks Reactions After Revealing She Married A Man From Enugu

A woman from Niger State, Fateema Keturah Daniel, has shared one of the reactions she received after revealing that she married a man from Enugu State.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Fateema disclosed in a Facebook post that she was born, raised and educated in Niger State, adding that she had never left the state until she got married.

The revelation reportedly attracted different reactions from social media users, with some people expressing surprise over her decision to marry outside her home state.

One Facebook user, Muhammad Abdullahi, criticised Fateema over her marriage to an Enugu man, whom he referred to as an “Iyamuri.” He questioned her decision, suggesting that people from Niger State had contributed to her upbringing and development before she eventually married outside the state.

Fateema’s post has since sparked conversations online, with the reactions highlighting the different views people hold about inter-state marriages and relationships.
