A US-based Liberian man reportedly embarrassed his fiancée in front of their families and friends after allegedly discovering that she had been unfaithful during their long-distance relationship.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the man had been in a long-distance relationship with the woman and returned to Liberia with plans to marry her. However, he reportedly became suspicious after allegedly discovering conversations between his fiancée and another man.

The man subsequently organised what appeared to be a surprise engagement ceremony, bringing together members of both families and close friends. During the gathering, he took the opportunity to address the guests and initially appeared to be delivering an emotional speech about his relationship.

However, the atmosphere reportedly changed when he began revealing alleged messages between his fiancée and another man, who he claimed was already married.

The man accused his fiancée of presenting herself as a woman who did not want to be involved with a married man while allegedly engaging in a relationship with one.

“He’s married. She’s messing with a married man. She used to tell me, ‘I don’t want to be a side chic,’ but she’s messing with a married man,” he reportedly said.

The revelation reportedly shocked those present, with the gathering descending into confusion as family members and friends attempted to calm the situation and prevent the confrontation from escalating.
