Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about a challenging period in her life, revealing that a health condition left her experiencing severe pain and struggling to walk for several months.

The actress shared her experience in a video posted on Instagram on Saturday to mark her 25th birthday, explaining that her health challenges contributed to her prolonged absence from social media and public activities.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Daniels disclosed that the condition initially appeared minor but gradually worsened until it significantly affected her mobility and forced her to rely on a wheelchair.

The mother of two explained that her condition became more serious after a children’s carnival she hosted, following which she underwent several medical tests as the pain intensified.

She described the experience as physically and emotionally distressing, noting that there were times when she could walk and other occasions when she could barely move.

Daniels also spoke about the emotional burden of losing her independence and depending on other people for assistance with everyday activities. She admitted that the prolonged pain and uncertainty had brought her to tears on several occasions.

The actress, however, expressed optimism about her recovery, saying recent improvements had encouraged her to speak publicly about her experience and address questions surrounding her absence.

She attributed her strength during the difficult period to her faith, expressing gratitude to God for the progress she had made and continuing to hope for complete healing and peace.

Daniels further revealed that she had moved closer to her loved ones, particularly her children, during the period. She explained that she initially rented the property but later developed an interest in purchasing it after moving in.

Her disclosure has offered fans a glimpse into the personal challenges she has faced away from the spotlight, as she continues to focus on her recovery and spending time with her family.
