Regina Daniels Turns 25 In Tears Of Pain as Actress Reveals Wheelchair Struggle

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her ongoing health struggles as she marked her 25th birthday, revealing that a condition she initially considered minor has left her relying on a wheelchair.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the actress made the disclosure on Saturday in a birthday video shared on her Instagram page, where she also explained that her health challenges had kept her away from social media for an extended period.

Celebrating the milestone, Daniels described the new chapter of her life as one in which she was praying for peace and calm.

“Hi everyone. It’s my Silver Jubilee. This new phase of my life, I pray to God for total calm. Happy birthday to me,” she said.

The actress revealed that she had been struggling with the condition for several months, explaining that it gradually worsened and affected her ability to move around freely.

“For several months now, I lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this,” she added.

Daniels said her condition became significantly worse after the last public event she hosted, a Children’s Day carnival. Since then, she explained, she has undergone repeated medical tests in an effort to understand and address the health problem.

The actress described the experience as physically and emotionally challenging, saying the frequency of the tests had become so overwhelming that she jokingly referred to herself as a “lab rat.”

“But things took a major turn after the last public gathering I hosted, my Children’s Day carnival. It’s been one test after another that I jokingly started calling myself a lab rat,” she said.

Daniels further disclosed that the pain had become excruciating and had affected her mobility, with her ability to walk fluctuating at different times.

Her birthday revelation has brought attention to the health difficulties she has been facing privately in recent months. However, she did not disclose the specific diagnosis responsible for her condition in the video.
