A Nigerian woman has sparked widespread reactions on social media after alleging that a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) assistant pastor secretly withdrew approximately ₦483,000 from his wife’s business account without her knowledge.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the allegation was shared by an X user identified as @masurge7, who recounted how the businesswoman approached her for assistance after discovering suspicious withdrawals from her Moniepoint POS account.

The woman reportedly noticed that ₦264,000 had disappeared from the account and sought help to determine how the money was withdrawn. According to the account shared online, an investigation revealed that the transactions had been carried out using an ATM card, despite the business owner reportedly insisting that she did not have one.

Further checks allegedly uncovered multiple withdrawals of different amounts, including ₦10,000, ₦12,000 and ₦7,000. The total amount reportedly taken from the account eventually reached approximately ₦483,000.

The X user also claimed that an additional ₦5,100 was withdrawn during the investigation, with the transaction reportedly traced to a nearby OPay agent.

In her account, she alleged that the businesswoman’s husband had secretly activated an ATM card linked to his wife’s account and used it to withdraw money from her business funds over a period of about two months without her knowledge.

The allegation has generated discussions online about trust, financial transparency and accountability within marriages. The reported religious position of the man has also drawn attention, with social media users reacting to the claims.

However, the allegations remain unverified, and no response from the man or an official statement from the RCCG was included in the account shared online.
