Fashion Designer Prudent Gabriel Reveals Why She Almost Postponed Her Wedding For Her Elder Sister

Fashion designer Prudent Gabriel has revealed that she once considered postponing her wedding because she felt uncomfortable about getting married before her immediate elder sister.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Prudent shared the experience during a recent church service, explaining that she was concerned about how her marriage would affect her sister emotionally.

The designer disclosed that she approached her sister before finalising her wedding plans to find out whether she was comfortable with her getting married first.

Prudent said she was prepared to postpone the ceremony until the following year because neither she nor her husband was in a hurry to begin their married life.

She recalled asking her sister whether she was comfortable with the decision, adding that she wanted to ensure that her wedding would not create any feelings of sadness or disappointment within the family.

However, rather than expressing any objection, Prudent said her sister encouraged her to proceed with the marriage, describing it as a blessing that would also bring positive developments into her own life.

According to the fashion designer, her sister’s relationship was progressing at a different pace because her partner was not yet ready for marriage. This helped Prudent understand that people reach important milestones at different times.

Despite receiving her sister’s blessing, Prudent admitted that she still experienced mixed emotions on her wedding day.

She recalled embracing her sister and expressing hope that she would also get married the following year.
