Man’s Romantic Surprise Takes Unexpected Turn As Girlfriend Changes Delivery Address To Hotel

A Nigerian dispatch rider has sparked widespread reactions online after alleging that a woman redirected a romantic surprise package from her boyfriend to a hotel instead of receiving it at her home.

The rider shared his account in a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, explaining that a man had engaged his services to deliver a surprise basket containing a cake, flowers and cash to his girlfriend.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the rider claimed that shortly after leaving the sender’s residence, the woman contacted him to confirm that he had departed before instructing him to deliver the package to a different address.

He alleged that the new destination turned out to be a hotel, although he declined to disclose the name of the establishment.

Reacting to the incident, the dispatch rider questioned whether the man truly understood the nature of his relationship with the woman. He suggested that the sender might have wasted his money by arranging the surprise, expressing doubts about the relationship based on the circumstances he described.

The rider further claimed that the woman deliberately waited until he had left the sender’s location before contacting him to change the delivery destination.

His account has generated considerable discussion on social media, with some users criticising the woman over her alleged actions, while others have urged caution, noting that the full circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
