As the Peoples Democratic Party’s internal conflict worsens, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has issued a warning that the PDP cannot win the 2023 presidential election without his involvement.
This was said by him on Friday in a press conference held in Port Harcourt, the state’s capital.
According to Wike and the other four governors, the PDP depends on them to be successful in the elections.
Iyorchia Ayu’s ouster as PDP’s national chairman has been demanded by Wike, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.
But Wike insisted that he and his group were determined to leave a lasting impression at the gathering.
