The video begins as Obasanjo is wrapping up his speech, saying, “… the president of Nigeria…” while glancing in the direction of Peter Obi.

The former president and presidential aspirant were recently at an event, and shortly before leaving, Obasanjo gave a short speech before elevating Peter Obi by placing him on his seat, which was captured on film.

As another attendee approaches Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi’s seat, Obasanjo warns him, “Leave him o.” Other people laughed as he said, “Leave him.”

Obasanjo then walks over to Peter, who stands from his seat and shakes hands with the former Nigerian President.

Obasanjo continues to grip Obi’s hand before leading him to his own seat.

Obasanjo goes away after seating Peter Obi in his seat, stating, “Ehen, my job is done.”
