Simon Ekpa, a prominent figure advocating for the rights of the Igbo people, has provided reassurance to Igbos residing in Lagos. The sit-at-home protest in the East aimed to draw attention to various issues affecting the Igbo community and express solidarity with their cause. Simon Ekpa’s assurance reflects the commitment to extend the protest movement beyond the Eastern region, including Igbos living in Lagos.

He wrote; “Biafrans in Lagos should get ready to be part of the demand to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. We are coming to Lagos after the 2 week-long sit at home. It is time to show your solidarity to this call for justice. Biafrans in Lagos will lockdown. The consultation will start soon.”
