In a tweet, Oyedele announced his decision to leave PwC after more than twenty years of service.

He cited the need to avoid any potential conflict of interest and to fully dedicate himself to his new assignment as the Chair of the Presidential Fiscal Policy & Tax Reform Committee, which he considers an important national duty.

Oyedele’s committee, along with its members, has been tasked with crucial responsibilities, including enhancing revenue collection, improving efficiency, and ensuring transparent reporting.

Additionally, they are focused on promoting the effective use of tax and other revenues to boost tax morale among citizens, foster a healthy tax culture, and encourage voluntary compliance.
