In a deeply distressing turn of events, a 15-year-old boy has allegedly stabbed his classmate to death with a kitchen knife following a heated dispute concerning a girl in Mwenezi, Zimbabwe.

The incident took place near Masongwe Secondary School at approximately 3 pm on June 18, 2023. Reports indicate that the victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, sustained fatal wounds to the shoulder and head, tragically succumbing to the injuries on the spot.

Confirming the incident, the Zimbabwean Republic Police released a statement, stating:

“The Mwenezi Police are currently investigating a case of murder involving two male juveniles aged 15. It is reported that on the 18th of July, 2023, near Masongwe Secondary School, the suspect stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife on the shoulder and head during an altercation over the suspect’s girlfriend. Regrettably, the victim lost his life at the scene.”
