While acknowledging President Tinubu’s exclusive right to make appointments, Eze raised concerns about Wike’s political approach, labeling him as a self-centered politician whose leadership style poses a threat to any organization.

He stressed that Wike’s entry into the APC might not align with the party’s democratic and rule of law principles.

Eze further stated that appointing Wike as a minister would be a grave political mistake, as he believes Wike lacks the record and character required for public office.

He criticized Wike’s track record during his tenure as Rivers State Governor, alleging mismanagement of resources and failure to attract foreign investments.

Moreover, Eze highlighted Wike’s strained relationships with prominent figures such as Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and former President Goodluck Jonathan, suggesting that Wike’s inclusion in the cabinet could lead to discord within the party.

In conclusion, Eze warned that if Wike could allegedly bring down the PDP, he might pose a similar risk to the APC and President Tinubu, should he be appointed as a minister.
