Chairman of the Agency, CSP Shola Jejeloye, highlighted the necessity of such raids to combat traffic robbery, pickpocketing, and purse-snatching, commonly occurring late at night and early in the morning.

The suspects, lurking in the shadows at garages and bus stops, had been preying on unsuspecting Lagosians.

CSP Jejeloye emphasized that raiding black spots and criminal hideouts is an effective policing strategy that has yielded positive outcomes in the past.

The agency will continue these periodic raids and employ other tactics to ensure that criminals find no comfort in the state.
