“Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, Maj. Gen. Christopher Musa, has robustly declared that ‘The Nigerian Armed Forces carry a sacred responsibility to safeguard the people and uphold the constitution.”

His remarks came to light during his recent appearance at the 16th International Defence Industry fair held in Istanbul, Turkey.

Furthering his address to journalists, he passionately added, “…as in the natural law, darkness can’t extinguish darkness; it’s only light that can. Thus, worldwide, we should resist allowing illegitimacy to displace legitimacy.”

Previously, the newly-appointed Chief of Defence Staff underscored his commitment to people-oriented leadership, bolstered troop welfare, and enhanced inter-agency collaboration as the bedrock of his defense management strategy moving forward.”
