ISWAP Devastated As NAF Airstrikes Decimate Scores – Holds Mass Burial In Marte

In a dramatic turn of events, the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) terrorists were forced to hold a mass funeral in Marte, Borno State, following the neutralization of a significant number of their ranks by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF). This unexpected blow to the terrorists, who have been causing havoc in the North East of Nigeria, was part of the strategic offensive executed by the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai on July 29, 2023.

The deadly airstrikes took place between 0830hrs – 0900hrs in Jibularam and Kwalaram, areas known to be ISWAP strongholds. The terrorists had reportedly gathered in these areas to strategize and coordinate attacks against the Nigerian military when the NAF jets made their move.

Zagazola Makama, a renowned Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in Lake Chad, received this information from reliable intelligence sources. According to these sources, the NAF operations were highly successful, resulting in significant casualties among the ISWAP members and substantial destruction of their properties.

The aftermath of these airstrikes painted a grim picture for the terrorists. On July 30, surviving ISWAP fighters were seen conducting a mass burial in the outskirts of Kwalaram, a clear indication of the severity of the losses inflicted by the NAF airstrikes.

This victory serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts of the Nigerian Air Force and allied forces in combating terrorism and securing the nation’s territories. With continued operations like these, there is renewed hope for the restoration of peace and stability in the region.
