Soso The Pure Water Seller, a well-known skit creator, Sophia Chisom, has reflected on her life before becoming famous and trying her hand at comedy.

Soso revealed that she graduated from the University of Port Harcourt with a degree in political science and public administration in a BBC Pidgin interview.

She claimed to have worked as a corps member for the Ministry of Petroleum and had a good chance of being retained, but she turned it down because she had never been interested in a 9 to 5 job.

Soso claimed that her father believed it was a waste of money and resources to send her to school since she preferred to make skits instead.
