Renowned activist, Deji Adeyanju, has lashed out at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, accusing them of using propaganda to sway public opinion and blackmail the judiciary. CONTINUE READING
Adeyanju’s accusations come in response to what he described as a wave of false reports from the camps of the opposition candidates. Adeyanju’s biting remarks underscore a harsh reality for the opposition: that their attempts to question the legitimacy of the election are viewed by many as unfounded and delusional.
He pointed out that election victories aren’t achieved through social media narratives or false personal anecdotes meant to garner sympathy. Instead, it involves genuine public support and transparent, democratic processes. Any attempt to sway the outcome through propaganda, deceit, or exploiting ethnic and religious sentiments is doomed to fail.
