Senator Basiru clarified that both Adamu and Omisore had not been found guilty of any financial impropriety. He emphasized that the intention behind the proposal to appoint external auditors was not to investigate any party member.

Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, also addressed reporters during the same occasion. He indicated that consultations were ongoing to determine how to fill the vacant leadership positions within the party’s NWC.
Morka stated that following the recent NEC meeting, the party was engaged in discussions about filling the remaining vacant positions in due time.
