Agada urged that policies designed to ease suffering should be implemented with selflessness, asserting that Nigerians, particularly Christians, should exemplify this by demonstrating care for those without hope.

“Service to God embodies love. The Bible states that God sent His only begotten Son out of love into the world. Christ, in turn, exemplified this love through His life; the Bible records that He went about doing good. We are treading in the footsteps of Christ.”

He continued, “The most effective way to demonstrate one’s acceptance of Christ’s gospel is by practically embodying it. This involves showing compassion to those in need, providing them with food and other essentials.

Let fellow Nigerians emulate our actions. The more you give and care for others, the more you feed those who lack sustenance and clothe the naked.

By doing so, you fulfill the teachings of the Kingdom of God. The more you engage in these acts, the more blessings you receive from God. Thus, I encourage everyone with the capacity to contribute, at any level.”

Dr. Noal Ekele, the patron of Newphase Gospel Club, emphasized that the donation to the orphanage aims to support the caretaker in providing for the children’s well-being.

He emphasized the importance of following the example set by Christ, who consistently did good for people in various contexts.

Ekele also called on the government to prioritize the provision of food to those in need, asserting, “Our plea to the government is to prioritize both inward and outward care for the needy. Regardless of the programs they undertake, addressing poverty and hunger should be paramount.”

Mrs. Kaima Udeonu, the proprietor of the orphanage, expressed gratitude for the church’s benevolent gesture and encouraged individuals and organizations to extend support to the orphans by contributing to their food and educational expenses.
