Sharing Trump’s mugshot on Twitter, Yesufu commented on the significance of the rule of law, stating, “The day Rule of Law leaves sheets of papers and become part and parcel of our lives is the day Nigeria will be that country you are yearning for.”
Additionally, Yesufu responded to recent remarks made by musician Burna Boy about Afrobeats. Burna Boy had commented that the genre often lacks substance and mainly focuses on portraying an enjoyable lifestyle rather than addressing real-life experiences. His statement sparked debates on social media, with some agreeing and others criticizing him.
In response, Yesufu recalled an earlier video of Burna Boy walking out of an interview due to boredom, where he even denigrated his own grandfather. She expressed her lack of surprise at his recent statement, humorously pointing out that Burna Boy’s capability to “shred” everyone in his own unique way makes her surprised by people’s reactions.
