Sympathizing with the families in their time of mourning, he assured them that the sacrifices made by their loved ones will hold significance and contribute to a larger cause.

He affirmed, “The individuals behind these heinous acts, and those who persist in attacking our personnel, regardless of their locations, will be pursued relentlessly. We will locate them, apprehend them, and ensure that they are incapable of inflicting harm on any other individual.”

The tragic incident occurred when soldiers engaged terrorists and were tragically shot down, followed by the crash of an aircraft on a rescue mission in the Chukuba area of Shiroro, Niger State. In response to this devastating event, the military disclosed last week that a total of 36 military personnel had lost their lives during the ambush.
