The event transpired at the Government House in Owerri on Saturday evening, as NANS members, accompanied by their national leaders, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Uzodimma after successfully conducting their elections in the Imo State capital.

Representing his fellow students, the National President of NANS, Usman Umar Barambu, expressed gratitude to Governor Uzodimma for his role not only as a fatherly figure but also for his patriotic and nationally-minded approach, setting him apart from other leaders and colleagues.

Barambu commended the governor for his youth and student-friendly policies, highlighting Uzodimma’s recognition that leadership is fundamentally about serving the people.

Furthermore, he emphasized the governor’s demonstration of leadership qualities through numerous people-centric policies and programs in Imo State.

Barambu conveyed the students’ commitment to supporting Governor Uzodimma as the November 11 governorship election approaches, ensuring his comfortable re-election.
