The chapter lauded the appointment, deeming it highly deserving and fitting, given that Eruba hails from one of the oil-producing communities within the local government.
“We, as leaders of the APC in Ukwa West local government chapter, extend our heartfelt appreciation to the president for appointing our fellow citizen to the NDDC board,” the communique stated.
In the past, the selection of the state’s representative on the NDDC board has often stirred controversies and even faced outright rejection from the oil-producing regions.
However, the leaders emphasized that President Tinubu’s choice of Eruba was the “right decision” and enjoyed widespread support not only in the oil-producing area but also across the entire state.
“This appointment has brought joy to both our party and the people,” the communique added.
They characterized Eruba as a dedicated leader who unwaveringly believes in the party and the administration led by Tinubu. They also highlighted Eruba’s humility as a native of Asa and his sincere commitment to the party’s principles.
