He emphasized that by implementing these suggestions, the party could foster unity, maintain peace, and promote the development of the APC in Osun State.
“As a party, we are committed to utilizing our resources to cater to the interests of youth, women, and all our party members.
We will empower them to channel their talents, skills, and capabilities towards contributing to the growth of the party, the state, and Nigeria as a whole,” he stated.
Oyetola commended the committee members for their outstanding work.
Prof. Adewole, presenting the committee’s report, reiterated the support of party loyalists in the state for Oyetola’s leadership.
He disclosed that one of the committee’s recommendations was the establishment of standing committees for post-election reconciliation.
The committee identified several reasons for the party’s failure in the governorship election, including a disconnect between the government and citizens, inadequate leadership, irregular salary and pension payments, indiscipline, anti-party activities, excessive desire for funds allocated to wards and units by leaders, ineffective use of media to showcase the governor’s achievements, insufficient election preparedness, among other factors.
