In a speech delivered on the occasion of his 100 days in office, Governor Eno recalled his inaugural promise to prioritize developmental initiatives in rural areas while simultaneously expanding and strengthening urban renewal and other key sectors.
He stressed that his administration is diligently working to translate the key principles of the A.R.I.S.E Agenda into practical actions. Governor Eno highlighted significant achievements, including the establishment of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), tasked with promoting rural development, enhancing the quality of life for rural residents, stimulating economic activities, and addressing rural-to-urban migration.
He also mentioned the commencement of critical road projects across the state and the acquisition of over 50 thousand hectares of land in all 31 local government areas to promote food security and engage the populace in agro-allied enterprises.
As a tangible manifestation of this commitment, Governor Eno recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the renowned Songhai Farms to launch a model farm in the state, furthering the agricultural revolution in line with the A.R.I.S.E Agenda.
