The IEPF cautioned former President Goodluck Jonathan and other credible Ijaw leaders to abstain from participating in the meeting, which it described as a charade for endorsing political candidates.
The forum emphasized that if the meeting proceeded as planned, its members would be present to monitor the proceedings.
If the discussions strayed from matters concerning Ijaw development and ventured into candidate endorsements, the IEPF members pledged to stage a walkout and publicly condemn such developments.
