The political landscape was abuzz with reactions when it was announced that Dr. Baba-Ahmed, a well-known political critic, had been given a nod for a role in the Tinubu-led administration. This came as a shock to many, especially given the recent political battle lines drawn during the elections where his brother Datti, ran alongside Obi, the flagbearer of the Labour Party.
The appointment, which was officially made public on Monday, the 18th, has not gone down well with many supporters and loyalists of the Labour Party, especially those who identify as ‘Obidients’.
