Ganduje made this prediction while hosting Haliru Dauda Jika, the NNPP governorship candidate for Bauchi state in the 2023 election, who formally returned to the APC at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

According to Ganduje, Kwankwaso’s unyielding pursuit of personal interests over national interests will continue to hinder the realization of his presidential aspirations.

Additionally, he attributed Kwankwaso’s consistent electoral defeats to his perceived lack of principled consistency in party politics over the years.

Ganduje commended and lauded Jika’s decision to rejoin the ruling party, characterizing it as a positive step forward.

He also suggested that Jika must have come to recognize that the NNPP, backed by the ‘Kwankwasiyya’ movement, was “deceitful and exploitative.”
