Operating under the banner of Stand Up Nigeria, these youths strongly criticized the alleged intimidation of members of the Kano state governorship election petitions tribunal.

They particularly condemned remarks made by certain politicians, including a recent statement by a political group warning of a situation in Kano similar to that in Zamfara if allegations of federal interference in favor of the APC at the tribunal are not addressed.

During a press conference held in Abuja, the national coordinator of the group, Patriot Sunday Attah, stressed the importance of the NJC taking proactive steps to move such panels to Abuja.

He emphasized that Kano should not experience a situation like that of Zamfara or Borno State, reassuring that there would be no conflict in Kano.

Regarding the safety of justices presiding over election cases nationwide, Attah highlighted that justices are not invulnerable and need protection. He called upon the Nigerian government to fulfill its responsibility in safeguarding them when faced with threats.
