He expressed his distress at how security personnel are subjecting Igbo people to undue hardship by insisting that passengers disembark from vehicles and walk across checkpoints on foot.
Ejimakor alleged that this systematic oppression began during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
He stated on X: “The practice in Igboland where all passengers are compelled to exit vehicles and cross checkpoints on foot is a clear example of the systemic humiliation and mistreatment of the Igbo people that commenced under Buhari’s leadership and continues to this day. It also exacerbates tensions.”
