He announced that the law enforcement operatives had successfully confiscated three AK47 rifles, three homemade 10-round revolvers, 448 rounds of 7.62 X 39mm live ammunition, an additional cache of 15 rounds of 7.62 X 39mm live ammunition, and a vehicle with the registration number Ebonyi HKW 578 AA from the suspects.

Hassan attributed the current state of peace and security to the effective deployment of both human and material resources, as well as the cooperation within the security framework.

He emphasized their commitment to combat robbery, banditry, kidnapping, and various other crimes and urged the public to partner with the police in maintaining community safety.

While acknowledging the security challenges in the state, such as banditry, kidnapping, robbery, and conflicts between farmers and herders, Hassan reassured that substantial efforts were being made to address these issues, leading to the current relative peace experienced by law-abiding citizens.

Hassan also mentioned that the suspects were currently undergoing interrogation and would face legal proceedings once the investigations were completed.

The Commissioner of Police, Musa Garba, expressed his appreciation for the courage and dedication displayed by the officers and personnel of the Command, as conveyed by the spokesperson.
