The use of a presidential jet by Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, and Ganduje’s son to attend a polo event in Kano has sparked a flurry of discussions and disagreements. In his post, Jaafar argued, “This is an offence to the moral code of leadership.” While many condemned the act, pointing to the misuse of national assets and potential ethical violations, there were those who defended the move. For instance, GoziconC and Aiesmerh underscored the Tinubu family’s affluence prior to their political foray, suggesting they shouldn’t be denied such privileges.
One user, @LagosBigBoy, remarked, “It’s not as if they took a Danfo or Okada! These are the first families, and their security and comfort is paramount. Besides, those jets would have been flying around anyway.”
